Proofreading (and a little bit of editing) is a real passion of mine, that excites me, even when I have other "real work" to do! For me, to see every word correctly spelled, and used as it should, gives a deep sense of satisfaction. I'm best at American usage, but I am no slouch at British spelling and punctuation, in addition. And I usually catch every mistake ... even those other proofreaders miss. (Well, okay, every once in a long while I might miss one ... try me!)
Formatting and layout is an extra service... Using the latest version of Microsoft Word, I can make your work camera-ready, so you can send it off the printer with a flourish.
Training & Qualifications
A very experienced proofreader and editor, with ten books to my credit as well as numerous newsletters and articles, I am a graduate of Portland State University's Honors Program (which required a LOT of writing).
