My work has been conducted in many areas of the corporate world, often conducting "big-picture" analysis of corporate systems and operations. Over the course of my various careers, I founded two companies, on two continents, and bootstrapped both to multi-million dollar sales volumes and market leadership.

My passion has also extended to writing, having authored approximately 200 articles and columns for a wide variety of publications as well as 5 books as author and several other books as contributing author.

Since 1983, I have worked in the management consulting and computer security fields. This security work included intrusion detection, malware detection and prevention, privacy concerns and fraud detection. I designed information security infrastructures and policies/procedures for a wide range of clients, including the Canadian Federal Government.

In Management Consulting, I apply my well-honed analytical and organizational skills in a very practical results-oriented manner, assisting companies and organizations maximize their results and profits.

In deepening my understanding of the areas studied over the years (first information management and business systems, then computer security and lately personal development) I have attended numerous workshops, conferences and courses, as well as taking private and self-directed training. I have been a voracious reader all my life with a personal library of many hundreds of books and constantly seek to improve my knowledge and understanding of the areas that interest me.
