With both a formal working background and a minor in accounting for my Bachelor's degree, I have 30+ years experience setting up and maintaining a personal budget. I love teaching how to get out of financial trouble and then staying out of financial trouble forever. With proven concepts, I provide you with an example spreadsheet you can use after we have one or more sessions.

Online Communities

I first realized the wisdom of communities, and how they can be a competitive differentiator for enterprises, when I launched My Oracle Support Community. That model of community—built on a real-time, engaging, and integrated platform made up of customers, developers, and support staff—changed the industry standard for delivering support and grew to more than 300 communities representing hundreds of product areas for millions of customers.

Now, I’m looking for an opportunity to help a company build a relationship with its customers via community. My skillset is somewhat unique: I have the technical chops to architect, implement, and integrate community platforms, but also the “softer” skillsets of community building, communications (spoken or written), idea generation, and innovation. I’m experienced in management of both onsite and remote workers, and am an effective collaborator with all levels of the organization—from customer support rep to senior executive.
