I am RauI Cardenas and I'm naturally curious of the world around me. I aspire to be an entrepreneur, developer, teacher and learner of all things relating to the world and technology.
I am currently working at GE Software in a Developer Support Specialist Role supporting 40,000+ users. I am an Atlassian Admin for all of our internal Atlassian suite of applications, which also includes being an admin/support for other applications such as an internal GE source control and project management system, Artifactory Admin, Coverity Admin, Github Enterprise Admin, and Rally subscription admin. I work with remote users around the world and take pride they are provided with excellent support service on any issues or software problems they may encounter.
Though this is not primarily my role, I perform quality assurance testing where needed on either plugins, websites, or support portal (service-now). I give users training on the applications itself, best practices for continuous integration, and a friendly shoulder to lean on through their frustrations if any occur.
Outside of work I like to work on Pi projects, robotics, application development/automation and social dancing. I am a firm believer in continuous learning and seek out courses, books and other media to keep my skill set sharp and my tools diverse.
