Etch Any Glass Dish

100

100 per unit - - Posted Feb 02, 2017

Design your very own custom etched glass!
Great for gifts, decoration, or just for fun!!! Every glass is chosen by you and designed to your specifications.

How this works:
--- Choose which type of glass you would like from your cupboard, or buy one from a store and send it to me. If you have any spare glass dishes to donate, I'll take it all off your hands!!!

--- Choose one of the available designs, or choose the Custom* option.
* If you choose a Custom design, you MUST send me a copy of the design in a message. *
* If you choose a Lettered design, you MUST discuss fonts and content with me before I can begin your order. *

--- I print your design and use it as a stencil for your glass.
((Images for designs MUST be in black and white, or greyscale, to allow for easy stenciling.))

--- Full etching process takes up to 24 hours. Please allow time for processing and shipping.

*** Local orders (Whatcom County, WA) can be picked up or delivered. Please message me for details.***

Training & Qualifications

I am starting a glass etching business and would love to share my skill with the world! In the last month, I have etched around 50 glasses, 2 plates, and a mirror. I love a challenge!! I have devised a faster method of etching that takes much less time.

Availability & Preferences

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday are etching days.

Trading Preference: I’m flexible, just hit me up!

About Randi Taggart

You hear stories about people who have hidden talents that they learned overnight. I guess that's really where my story starts. When I was a child, I learned everything really quickly. Just about anyt...hing I tried, I was able to figure out a way to master within days. It made moving around as much as we did easier to bear, having something to occupy my time in the car. At 5, I learned how to braid (still can't do French braids in my own hair though) and made THOUSANDS of braided yarn necklaces for my dolls. Around 8, she taught me to crochet, so I did the same with that instead. When I was old enough to respect blades, 9/10 ish, she taught me how to etch mirrors. Sometime around 11 or 12, my mom tried teaching me to sew, but I only caught onto the basics of patterns, not the sewing together part... I ended up cutting up my socks to make Barbie doll clothes (don't laugh, they were pretty! And they were the ones with holes in them hahaha) Finally, she met my step dad, who taught me about basic construction and other manual labor skills when I was an older teen. Each of these activities were easily mastered within months, which was a major ego boost! It also meant that I got (still get) bored really easily without some kind of distraction. To entertain myself, I used my favorite memories to do some fun hands on crafts: crochet, popsicle/hot glue projects, glass etching, and macrame (beginner). My craft of choice rotates as the year goes, but I usually stick to those few :)show more
