About Raina Stoutenburg

I am a music teacher and piano player. I have my master's degree in music education, but with that I am able to play several instruments, transcribe music, and arrange it. I have arranged music for... solo instruments, keeping my students' range and ability in mind. I have arranged popular music for band and jazz band. I can listen to a song and write it down, but it helps to have a video where someone is actually playing the music. Please do not initiate a deal with me unless you have checked that it is not a copyright infringement for me to transcribe your music. I do various fiber crafts and art in my spare time -- mostly embroidery, but I can also knit. Please check out my website below for some examples of my embroidery. It's mostly for historical clothing re-creation, but I can do cross stitch, back stitch, running stitch, stem stitch, chain stitch, split stitch, blackwork, and openwork (Hardanger). I would be happy to teach, but if you want me to embroider you something, be prepared to pay a lot of simbi. Embroidery is extremely time consuming. I can teach you basic knitting, how to follow a pattern, and how to knit a two-color pattern. Again, if you want me to knit you something, be prepared to pay a lot of simbi. Knitting is also very time consuming. I also have my 3rd Degree in Reiki (also known as a Reiki Master). I can give attunements in person and teach about it. I'm not as good with distance healing, but would love the practice! In addition, I can draw reasonably well from a picture. What that means if you have a picture or a combination of pictures, I can draw them in pencil or charcoal and have them look like what they're supposed to.
