I am a retired teacher, a mother and a grandmother. An avid gardener, nature lover and a dedicated volunteer at Zeleni Kastav and Red Cross Opatija. I love reading good books and watching movies. I spend some time in front of the computer, learning about different things. My special interest is the environment and I am trying my best to live with low carbon footprint and whenever possible, I also educate others about it. I give presentations on sustainable lifestyle and zero waste. I participate in the local transition initiative and am the author of the blog named Eko baka.
I have traveled throughout Europe and lived in North America. I have met and socialized with people from all walks of life from all over the world and I believe in oneness of the human kind. I have volunteered in a national park in Canada as a guide and nature interpreter and still hope to have more opportunities in educating children to enjoy and appreciate nature.
