About Praveen Yalamanchi
Praveen is a serial innovator having founded several high profile startups--accolades include SharkTank San Francisco (Bay Angels sponsored) and the Plug and Play expo being voted most innovative startup in Silicon Valley by 140+ VCs.
He pioneered YouTube interactive, chatbots, shot the world's first VR zombie film, and won the 2015 AT&T mobile hackathon and is designing augmented reality stock trading tools.
He is developing VR/AR apps for Hollywood/Bollywood productions, professional sports teams, and newspapers. At 2015 eMerge Americas he made a virtual Miami Beach convention center tour and won the best demo booth award for StepFlix.com, the world's largest virtual dance studio he co-founded.
For the 2015 Facebook hackathon he made the world's first augmented reality social network/messaging app along with real time green screen augmented reality transparent video production techniques.

For the 2015 Cedars-Sinai Techstars healthcare startup weekend won an award for PT/VR a virtual physical therapy/telemedicine app.
Previously, Praveen was a Founding Partner of Good Fortune Ventures investment team, Managing Director, India for Penfold Capital. Formerly at Dawson James Securities (top 25 investment bank in terms of deals completed), he was VP of Technology and Clean Technology.
In 2005, Mr. Yalamanchi was able to turn a $20k personal trading account into a $2M portfolio by inventing wisdom-of-crowds trading techniques.
Praveen holds two honors degrees in Finance and Computer Engineering.
