5,000 Word Audio Narration

20

20 per unit - Virtual OK - Posted Jul 28, 2018

I will take up to 5,000 words and narrate them for you in a soothing, baritone of whatever accent you'd like it read in. I have traveled abroad and studied voice and diction extensively in addition to doing some public speaking professionally.
The accents I can read in are as follows:

Scottish (various dialects)
Irish (various dialects)
English (various dialects)
South African
Australian
American (various dialects)

I will read just about anything, (no smut or erotica, sorry!) from either fiction or nonfiction.

This kind of service can be invaluable to authors. Sometimes it is helpful to hear your work read back to you to catch mistakes or syntax errors in your work. Or it can be fun to listen to your story or writing project as someone else sees it!

It usually takes me 3-5 nights of recording, re-recording, and sound mixing a track to get you a high quality piece, but assuming my Simbi docket is relatively short you should get your piece within a week of me accepting our deal.

Below it the youtube.com URL of a sample chapter I read for writer, artist, and fellow simbi user, Liz Stienhold, author of the King's Renegade series.

I have preformed in various theater productions as well as sever Independent Films over the years, in addition to working with authors outside of Simbi to create audio narration for their written works.

Availability & Preferences

I am usually free weeknights and weekends

Trading Preference: I prefer being paid in simbi

About Philip Smith

I am a young freelance marketer with experience in writing, graphic design, and a variety of fields in the skilled trades industry including blacksmithing, cabinetmaking, custom furniture, tractor par...ts and sales, carving, leather-craft, and so much more. I've been working with my hands my whole life and take great enjoyment in making things with my hands for other people. I currently am working on building a self sustaining lifestyle complete with a tiny gypsy house and several startup companies. I'm thrilled to meet new people and barter my skills to continue to learn all that I can to hit that next milestone. My background is travel; my father is a minister and so our family has been all over the world and I never stopped getting the itch to "get around". I'm American born to a Scottish family, world traveled, and love the outdoors and making things with my hands. My philosophy has always been "Learn and never quit." My hope is to better myself and my education on simbi by providing services I CAN do and then buy training in the things I lack. show more
