I grew up in Austin, Texas. I got my B.A. with an emphasis in Humanities & Art from The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington in 2015. I now live in Eugene, Oregon with my family. I am day to... day in pursuit of a perfect routine of devotion, nourishment, and gratitude. I have always been ambitious when it comes to reading books, making art, and making food. I write creatively, and have a lot of experience with academic writing. I enjoy a number of individual sports, including yoga, martial arts, running, and hiking. I am committed to good health as well as good spiritual health. Politically, I am interested in the promotion of a number of intersectional ideals globally, including sustainability, feminism, economic equality, anti-homophobia and anti-racism. I'm a big fan of Naomi Klein and other researchers who highlight the fact that capitalism inherently leads to gross inequality and exploitation, and that it serves to continue processes of climate change, racism and sexism. The recent rise to power of a certain corporate billionaire scumbag and his corporate billionaire scum cronies is, as Naomi Klein has stated, a corporate coup d'etat. It is the final frontier of free-market neo-liberalism, the final privatization. I am 100% against corporate capitalists being in government, and against billionaires existing at all while most of the world suffers in poverty. If you ask me what my alternative plan is, I say that is semantics, and I don't have to personally have the perfect plan to know that this isn't right.show more
