Since every artist is different, the description of how this works is on a case by case basis, but I do think there are some generalities that apply to all cases.
When you send me the text, I'll take a bit of time to process it, understand it, work with the syllables and start to get a feel for the words. After that, we'll arrange a Skype call to discuss what exactly you're looking for (in the style of, genre, instrumentation, etc.), and how I can best produce that request.
After that, I get to work writing music for the text, and upon completion, I will deliver the music in recording, score, or whatever medium works best for your particular project.
In addition to whatever sort of payment we work out, I also request that you give me credit if you choose to take my music to a commercial platform.
