As a professional educator for 15 years, I have improved student achievement and school interest while raising the bar in public education and improving my filmmaking, social media and marketing skills. I was able to achieve this by creating school-wide initiatives (such as educational films, behavior management protocols, teacher education hacks and talent shows), employing emerging technological resources and building strong rapport among students, parents and overall community.

As a freelance filmmaker and entrepreneur, I successfully launched OscMedia Moviemakers and CielosKid.com. These endeavors taught me about creating my own marketing campaigns and promotions while executing the day to day of running my own business which included creating corporate video, field shoots and event productions.

This combination of talents, my BA in Sociology, MA in Teaching and English/Spanish fluency create a unique skill set that I proudly bring to the workplace.
