Beginner Hula Hoop Lesson (Toronto)

Come learn the basics of hula hooping! Using weighted, adult-sized hoops, we will explore waist hooping, moving with the hoop, spins, neck hooping, chest hooping, angles, breaks, and more! Please wear comfortable clothing and bring water.
This can happen in a park somewhere in downtown Toronto. My preference is the park closest to my house in the Cabbagetown area where I can easily bring my portable amp so we can play some tunes! Or if you have a giant open indoor space, we can negotiate something else.
If you want to bring a friend or 3 (I have 4 extra hoops), we can negotiate our trade accordingly.
40 minutes or so. Often beginners can't go much longer than that, but we can chill and hoop casually for up to an hour.

Training & Qualifications
I am an experienced hula hoop teacher. I have taught workshops for youth groups, outdoor groups, conferences, music festivals, and have run my own workshop series.
