45 min Mental Health Consultation
35
I will help you to develop self-awareness, self-esteem, and actionable plans for improving your life and outlook. I take a strengths-based approach to mental health, which means you can expect me to provide an affirming, safe space to work through whatever's hurting or hindering you. You can also expect me to (gently and lovingly) push you towards self-examination and tangible action. I also take an open-minded, social justice based approach, which means that I will not judge you for *anything* you say to me, and I will make sure to give space to the particular social space/identities that you occupy.
I can also help you find a therapist if you are having trouble navigating the world of mental health counseling and would simply like a guide.
I love working with trans and queer people, but am open to everyone. If you have any questions about whether this service might be right for you, please ask me and I will absolutely get back to you!
NOTE: This is *not* clinical therapy! I am not qualified to provide anything aside from consultation, advice, and a safe space to talk. Like I say above, if you are looking for a therapist or a psychologist, I'm happy to help you on that journey.
Training & Qualifications
I am an MSW Candidate at Boston University and a therapy intern at the Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health. I work with couples and groups, and I specialize in issues of sexuality and romance, though I am capable of working with anyone. If I don't think I am qualified to work with you, I promise to let you know.

My schedule is pretty wonky, so suggest some dates/times that work and I'll try to accommodate you
