About Nikela Parks

Hello! About me, yikes, I'm a smattering of many things. I work in corporate IT yet I'm extremely creative and love thinking up cool new DIY projects, like cool costumes (Halo's Noble 6 and a khaji...it mask to name a couple) or a wood and cement entertainment center and matching side tables for my couch). I'm a gamer, used to model, show dogs. I'm amazing at auctions, I'm currently sitting on the new Copenhagen couch worth $5k and only paid $425 for it. I'm also raising my 12 year old son, who loves airsoft and video games, sometimes a little too much. I have a European Doberman, Pharaoh hound (show dog), and a bullshih-t (English bulldog/shih-tzu) with a mohawk. I have a fascination with languages and eventually want to learn many more, along with coding languages to build my own empire (you may be thinking "but Nik, you work in IT! Why haven't you learned it yet or just borrow a dev?" Easier said than done, dearest reader. Devs are busy with work and their own lives and I'm a hands on learner. While I've learned some, I've not learned enough to pack my proverbial arsenal yet.) As you may have guessed I have a wicked sense of humor, which is necessary in IT if you don't want everyone to hate you as a manager. I've also survived childhood cancer and heart failure and am shockingly heathy considering. I haven't put a ton of stuff up here for services yet but if you have a question, would like advice etc. or you are offering something in my interests, start a conversation.
