I'm a sort of jack of many trades -- I work in the active transportation community as a bike advocate, but have worked in radio, broadband policy, restaurants, startups, and more. I live in Washington, DC for the time being with one of my cats (the other is on the west coast with my partner) and like to ferment food, bake bread, brew beer, ride my bike, and be a part of my community.

I have a master's degree in public policy and studied journalism in college, but my passion is working with people to make them feel safe, comfortable, and connected. In many ways, that's why simbi appeals to me.
