From Food to Fashion, and Beyond... I was born and raised in a hearty but socio-economally disadvantaged Italian-Irish family/neighborhood in South Philly. Being sensitive, I only naturally seeped into a deep depression in my adolescence, I quickly gravitated to heart-contemplative practice soon after dropping out of high school. Here I was free to ponder the nature of existence, and experienced deep ripples of joy as I reacquainted my 'self' with Wonder and Awe. I still suffer those same socio-economic disadvantages, but am learning to branch out and be confident in my gifts, insights gifted to me, so I can expand and grow from this limited reality of mine.show more
