Hypnotherapy is an evidence based complementary therapy that uses guided relaxation, intense concentration, and focused attention to achieve a heightened state of awareness that is sometimes called a trance or hypnosis. In this naturally occurring state, a person may focus his or her attention on specific thoughts or tasks and bring conscious awareness to subconscious mechanisms. Within the subconscious mind resides our imagination, emotions, memories, automatic body responses, habit patterns, and most deeply held beliefs about ourselves and what we believe is possible for us. When we desire to make a lasting, positive change in our lives, it is these subconscious patterns that we must effect.
I have a practice, but I love the idea of doing some neat trades for hypno too!
