IEP Review and Consulation

I will spend up to 30 minutes reviewing your child's Individualize Education Plan. I can explain the terms used, answer any questions, and make recommendations for improvement. It will work best if you can send a copy to me electronically. Feel free to mark out names or other identifying information to protect your confidentiality.
We can discuss the document in person, over the phone, or via the computer (Skype, FaceTime, Google Hangouts, etc.). I can share ideas on working with your school team to maximize your student's success. Your child's IEP should accurately reflect the supports needed in the education environment. Reviewing the IEP with me will give you peace of mind that the school is on the right track or information to help you make improvements.
Any information we discuss is strictly confidential. The only exception would be if you threaten harm to yourself or others.
Training & Qualifications
I am an occupational therapist with over 10 years of experience working in the public schools. I have assisted in writing IEPs for children from 3 years old all the way to 21 years old, pre-k through 12th grade.
