About Molly Nixon

Rather than start with a summary of where I have been, I would like to start with where I am going. Currently I an in the clinical portion of Grand Rapids Community College's nursing program. It is my... goal to become involved in obstetrics and new parent support. Ideally, I would like to be a lactation consultant as I know this is a source of stress for many new moms. I believe that many cases of child abuse of an infant are stress induced. I seek ways to alleviate that stress and give the newest members of our community the best start possible. I have been in customer service industries for 15 years, and have applied these skills to each of my clinical experiences. Resolving concerns has been a part of each job I have held, a skill that requires more listening than talking. I have fully embraced the concept of "solved by sundown", meaning that all issues are resolved by the end of the business day. I bring the advantages of customer service experience, the ability to work with little to no supervision, and exceptional work prioritizing abilities.show more
