I have a MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and was not a traditional candidate when I applied so I learned more than a few hacks to get myself admitted. Once admitted I was an active member of the Dean's Admission Committee reading applications and interviewing candidates so I know exactly what they look for. Since graduation I've maintained a relationship with the Admissions Committee and regularly advise prospective applicants and speak at Admissions Events, both at the request of the Admission Cmte. More importantly I've helped more than one acquaintance gain admission to Booth and other top-ranked schools.
