Learn how to ride a skateboard

I will teach you to ride a skateboard or longboard in a safe and enjoyable environment. I will first determine your level experience. Then I will break out my balance gear and we will practice in a stress-free way. I will teach you how to ride, how to push and how to stop. I will also teach you how to carve. I can teach any child starting from the age of two and I can teach any adult up to a hundred and two.
Although I'm available locally here in Toronto, I will travel. Perhaps this something that we can work on if you need a lot of people trained in a specific area. I can actually teach up to 6 people at a time per session - but that is not part of this deal.

Training & Qualifications
I love skateboarding and have been riding since 1975. 1999 I published a book on the history of skateboarding. It was called Concrete Wave. The book sold over 43,000 copies and turned into a 52 part television series shown around the world. In 1999, I published the first magazine on longboarding called International Longboarder.
In 2002 I began publishing Concrete Wave -the magazine. In 2012 I founded Longboarding for Peace. This is an international movement that teaches children from around-the-world how to skateboard. We also do a number of other things like gun buybacks. This is where we trade guns in for skateboards. We promote justice by shedding a light on the wrongfully convicted.
Availability & Preferences
I have a very flexible schedule and tend to do a lot of traveling. If you're willing to cover specific costs, I'm more than happy to come practically anywhere in the world.
