I am a registered dietitian who LOVES to eat healthy, DELICIOUS food! I am constantly experimenting in the kitchen with various ways to modify recipes for the many different diets that my clients need. I specialize in pediatrics and love working with families to find eating plans that work for everyone in the household. I especially love working with pregnant moms and new parents on the best nutrition to prevent complications in the future of their young ones. I received my BA in English and Spanish from UCSB (go Gauchos!) and my MS in Nutrition & Food Science from Cal Poly Pomona. I am fluent in Spanish and think that if food was a language, I would speak that too!

I am married to a high school English teacher, so we both share a love of sharing knowledge with others in fun and understandable ways. We have a dog that we love and live in a city where we can access hiking trails, the beach, awesome restaurants, the desert and the mountains all within a couple of hours! I love being outside and soaking up the sun, but am also obsessed with my local yoga studio, where I practice several days per week.
