About Meagan Potter

My name is Meagan. I fell in love with dog training when my troublesome puppy and I decided to take a basic obedience class. We went on to intermediate, then advanced, then trick class, and agility. I...t came to a point that I decided to take a course and become a trainer myself. I've now been training for 3 years. Sadly I had to take a step back from all my plans when I hit my head in February 2016 and I've been dealing with post concussion symptoms ever since. I don't want to miss the chance to keep practicing training. I can't do it full time anymore but I am happy to help out on Simbi. I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, but I am happy to do skype dates or just text back and forth if that is helpful. Simbi wants to know more about me so I'll tell you that I went to University in Thunder Bay. I did an exchange program with Australia and lived there for 8 months. I've lived in Ireland as well. I've travelled most of France. I speak English and French, and I tried to learn a bit of Spanish at one point in my life but I would love to know more. I've travel to costa Rica, which is why I tried to learn Spanish in the first place. My brother's fiancé is Chinese so I would love to learn Cantonese. I'm currently trying to learn how to garden and play the ukulele. This all depends on how my brain is feeling. I was also diagnosed with Lyme disease so life has been pretty slow and hard these days.
