I will proofread and offer editing suggestions of one large document (15-25 pages or more) or of two smaller documents (less than 10 pages each). I will work with you to make sure your content remains as you intend while assisting with the format, clarity, and overall quality of your document. Both fiction and non-fiction works are acceptable.
In short, my goal is to help you with whatever work you're creating so that your ideas and styles are still able to shine. My role in this service is to guide you and offer advice, not to dictate what you should or shouldn't express. I will also explain to you any suggestions so that you can improve your editing and proofreading skills.
"Writing is a process," said every English teacher I've ever met, and I'm here to be a part of that process, a part of the give and take present whenever communication and creation are happening.
Training & Qualifications
Currently, I am a Junior in college. However, I have always written strong papers and also scored a 36 in Reading on my ACT as well as a 34 in English. More important than any of that, I have a strong passion for writing and practice improving my written communications daily through both fictional and nonfictional projects. For instance, I wrote several short plays that were performed for fundraising while in high school. If you decide to use my services, you have the benefit of an additional proofreader, my fiance who graduated with an English degree from Sewanee: The University of the South. As the old saying goes, two heads are better than one.
Availability & Preferences
My availability tends to be in the evenings and on Saturdays.
