About Luke Ridge-O'Brien

As far as art and sound are concerned, I'm a rapper, producer, sound engineer, amateur philosopher, open soul, and truth seeker. I started writing poetry as a young child and it evolved into the hip h...op music scene of South Florida in the 9th grade and I've yet to stop since. In order to be able to maintain my art throughout life in spite of having a 'real job' I decided in the 11th grade I absolutely needed to become a great sound engineer. Great is quite a relative term, but based off this I left high school right to Boston University's Center for Digital Imaging Arts (CDIA) and studied audio engineering and its many aspects such as microphone techniques, mixing, mastering, sound design, live sound, signal flow, etc. Since prior to graduating I've been an active audio engineer in the business since 2011, but have been producing, writing, and recording my own music since 2006. More recently in life my many questions of existentialism led me to various philosophical, scientific, and even some esoteric readings and understandings that have wildly changed and grown my perception of reality. Now, on an also spiritual path, I'm moving forward in life with some new additional goals of finding enlightenment and become a true healer in every sense of the word to help anybody and everybody I can on my journey.
