I will chat with you via Zoom (free app/website) for 40 minutes to help you brainstorm ideas and plans for homeschooling your 2-8yo child(ren). If email works better for you, we can message back and forth several times (I'll track 40 minutes of my time).
We can talk about homeschooling philosophy, style, curriculum, resources, and experiences, and I am happy to advise about year and lesson planning, socialization, circle time, literature selections, making use of the library, purchasing, storing, and organizing materials, incorporating art, music, and nature study, and more.
Please note: I am not qualified to cover legal topics such as how many hours and what kind of paperwork and documentation is required in your state.
Training & Qualifications
I have been homeschooling for 4 years, facilitating my children's learning and leading classes and workshops for other local homeschoolers. Before homeschooling my own kids, I graduated college with a minor in education and a teaching license. I am also a parent educator (certified through the Positive Discipline Association) and a nature play educator and mentor leader through Tinkergarten.
