I will teach you to play the Ukuele, a wonderfully versatile, portable, and beautiful instrument!
I can give intro sessions for those with little to no experience with a ukulele or stringed instruments in general. We'll go over what the instrument is, the different parts, how to handle it, and tuning. Then we will learn some basic chord shapes and strumming patterns to be able to play some nice songs and have a good time!
I can also give intermediate learning sessions, in which we can talk about chord shapes, more strumming patterns and practices, picking, and learn more advanced songs as well as talk about writing music and maybe sharing some of our own! This kind of session can be more free-flowing and exploratory depending on your your skill level and how we feel.
The Ukulele is really a fun instrument, and it's very easy to learn! I will make the lessons fun and enjoyable and you will come out of them with some tangible improvement in your abilities! I can also provide resources for further exploration if you would like!

Training & Qualifications
I've been playing the Ukulele for a number of years, I've never had formal training; I picked it up at summer camp and have been enjoying whipping it out and jamming out tunes ever since. I have also played the Uke in some performances with my band.
