Learn to Read Music!
20
Do you play an instrument or sing, but have never learned to read notation? Do you want to be able to write down music that you write? Are you a church or rock musician who is an expert at reading tabs and chord charts but never made the jump to traditional notation? I will teach you how to read music. We will start with basic rhythms from whole notes to eighth notes. Then, we will jump to melody. I will teach you how to read notes on the treble and bass clefs and how that relates to solfege (do, re, mi). This is applicable to all instruments. I will end the lesson by explaining how this relates to the instrument(s) you play or want to learn. This should take about an hour through Skype and can be broken into multiple sessions. Further lessons can be offered as well going into more depth.
