Hi, my name is Kristyn Van Cleave, and I have been dancing, teaching, and choreographing in Bakersfield, California for over a decade. While trained in several styles, from ballet to contemporary to hip hop, tap dance has always been my passion and the thing I most enjoy sharing with others, and also the style I have been nationally recognized for multiple times. I teach lessons for beginners through advanced and pre-professional.

An hour a week of tap dance is often just the thing to brighten a person's life. Whether you have experience or are just starting out, my lessons will benefit you. I have taught children from age four and also adults. Dancing is an activity for any age!
I provide a portable tap floor that I will bring to every lesson so there is no need to worry about damaging your home floors. You provide your shoes, and we're set!
