1 Hour Art Lesson for All Levels

I will offer a one-hour art lesson for Pre-K through adult artists of all levels. Groups of up to 15 welcome! I can help you with a project you've already chosen, or work with you to find one that strikes your fancy! I can help you choose and purchase the right materials or provide everything you'll need. We can work at my home or find a public classroom space. Some project/lesson ideas: recycled journal making; easy DIY holiday gifts; figure drawing; observational drawing in the park; introduction to decorative lettering; keepsake plaster casting; make your own robot sculpture; costume design. I can provide Pinterest boards for more inspiration!
Training & Qualifications
I have been a certified K-12 art teacher since 2008 in Broward and Alachua schools, museums and camps. I have experience working with students of all ages, levels of ability and special needs. I am a graduate student and teaching assistant in Art Education at the University of Florida. You may have met me at our Gainesville Pop Up Studio events at Downtown Arts Festival, Active Streets, 352 Creates, First Magnitude, and more. I'm also a licensed professional tattoo artist currently working in Downtown Gainesville.
Availability & Preferences
Most mornings, afternoons and early evenings. I am flexible! Only unavailable on Monday, Tuesday and Saturday. I am a new mama, so baby will sometimes be tagging along in sling.
