Pet training sessions!
25
I will meet with you (locals only, limited availability) and your dog in a half hour training session to help develop basic commands. I can help with sit, come, stay, shake, lie down, give kisses, and can help you teach your dog their name.
I can also can offer a house training, crate training, or help with dogs who have anxiety surrounding certain tasks (I can show you a way to help your dog enjoy things like baths or car rides), though these are often problems that are not resolved in one training session, and may take more help or more training sessions.
You should bring small treats, a leash (the longer the leash, the better!) and collar, and a toy your pet loves. Good examples of treats include baby carrots, cut into about inch long pieces, a bag of cheerios, or the training specific treats a pet store would sell- they are usually small and low calorie.
Training & Qualifications
I have raised and trained 3 dogs in my lifetime, and have a background in behavioral psychology from Western Michigan University. I can use these life experiences and help you learn the best way to teach your dog.
Availability & Preferences
Mornings and weekends are usually best, though my schedule varies.
