Koffi provides leadership in country program design, oversight and implementation with strong macro trends analysis and problem solving skills, monitoring and evaluation. Koffi holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Westfälische Wilhelm Universität Münster in Germany with 30 years of experience working with national and international development organizations including Plan International and Catholic Relief Services. He also has previous experience working for the private sector including commercial banks. He has mainly focused on the development of multi-faceted programs including health, education, water & sanitation, livelihoods with cross-cutting issues (gender, child, HIV/AIDS) through the implementation of appropriate programs including income-generating activities, farming, animal raising, fishery, improved grain storage and high-performance poverty lending through microfinance. Before joining Habitat, Koffi was the Technical Adviser for the Livelihood (Microfinance and Food Security) at Plan Togo, and was coordinating the programs of the Microfinance Network for Plan International West Africa Regional Office. Koffi is familiar with 19 countries in the 4 Sub-Saharan African countries, having carried out diverse development tasks in such countries.
