One of the best things about Netflix is being able to catch up on old TV shows and movies. One of the worst things about Netflix is being able to catch up on old TV shows and movies but not having anyone to discuss them with. Sometimes they are too obscure and your friends haven't seen them. Sometimes you're embarrassed about being so far behind. Maybe it's just a genre your friends don't enjoy. I'll watch it and we can text or message about it!
You pick a movie or a few of the first episodes of a show (let's not commit to seasons until we've both seen it and agree) from Netflix. Within a day or two, we can text, email, message, Skype or talk on the phone about it. Heck, if you live in my area (and bring snacks) you can probably come over to my house and we'll watch together. (Restrictions apply on that one. We'll have to talk about it first.)
I do request no anime, foreign languages and/or subtitles. They just aren't my thing. If however you like horror flicks and British TV, then maybe we'll be best friends! :)
