About Kevin MacLeod

I am a task-driven individual who enjoys providing information to help make informed decisions and enrich the lives of Canadians. How I most want to help is by providing access to mental health servic...es, an ear for others to speak to, and support for their emotional well-being. While my formal training is in music, educational psychology, philosophy, and accounting, I also have experience within the finance area and have completed my Investment Funds in Canada training in Ontario. My past administrative positions focused on developing customer service, and interpersonal communication skills. I am most notable for a desire to please, focus on compliance, my sense of humour, and my ability to learn quickly. On a personal note, I am very much into Dungeons and Dragons. I wouldn't say I'm obsessed since I can break away from it for a time, but I'd rather not. What I love about Dungeons and Dragons is its ability to help others work through boundaries and issues. This works similar to roleplaying therapy where one puts oneself into another's shoes. It's a great mental exercise since it can help build empathy and even improve your own mental wellbeing. I am currently working on finding a new job closer to my family. My hope is to find one that allows us to afford the rising costs of rental prices in Kitchener-Waterloo.
