I have an issue with locating the exact issue that's causing a HTTP 500 error. I have a VPS and root access. This happens either when I go to the WP-Admin site OR after logging out and navigating the way. I have researched and it tends to be either a PHP mem limit issue or permissions. Unless I'm missing something, both of these are as they should be. I have root access to the server, but am in the process of learning command line, I know a minimal to moderate amount and have googled, but can't seem to navigate to any error logs to find out the issue. I would like to fix the error myself, just need help either figuring out why I can't get to the error logs or what I'm doing incorrectly.
