About Kelly Dugger

Hi, I'm Kelly. I service pianos in the day and I teach (piano, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, and flute) in the evenings. I love all instruments - I can play just about every instrument. I simply lo...ve making music, and I love improving, tuning and repairing pianos! There is almost an infinite number of improvements you can make on a piano - I simply love bringing a piano to its absolute best. I am an "RPT" - Registered Piano Technician. This is the highest certification offered in our field of work. You can rest assured that not only will your piano be tuned correctly and safely, but I can also repair or rebuild any problem that might occur on your piano. This is important because not all "tuners" can repair strings, for example, if one breaks during the tuning. I can also regulate your piano to the highest performance standards so instead of fighting with your piano, it will work for you. ​ I am also a certified PianoDisc technician and authorized retailer. ​I currently serve as President of the Las Vegas Chapter of the Piano Technicians Guild. I work closely with colleagues from all around the country, collaborating and learning about the latest piano tools and technologies. I work with piano manufacturers such as Steinway, Yamaha, and Kawai, attending classes and gaining repair skills specific to each brand. I also tune pianos for Southern Nevada Music as well as many schools and churches. In addition to my Piano Technician certifications, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Master's Degree in Music Education/Conducting from Sam Houston State University.show more
