I am and education driven young professional trying to do my part to create a better place around me. I believe that we should never stop learning because it is the only way to better ourselves. This philosophy has made me focus my career in education. I have taught in the public schools for the last five years and am pursuing a second masters degree in education policy. I am much more than my profession though. I enjoy creating. I play instruments and sing, write poetry, cross-stitch, and crochet. I enjoy nature. I hike, ride bikes, and camp. All of these things make me, me.
