Proofread or Edit Written Work

I can proofread papers, poems, articles, speeches, short stories, blog posts, how-to's, or anything else written. If you want advice or another pair of eyes to look over it, I can help. I have an affinity for grammar and ease of reading. I can also edit if need be. My abilities are flexible and can be easily tailored to what you need to happen. I pride myself on giving constructive criticism to help people improve in their writing abilities, but if that is not wanted then I am capable of limiting myself to simply editing. All of my work is done in a timely manner and can take as little as an hour or two (depending upon the length of the material, of course). I do not shy away from larger projects (novellas, for example), but I may require a slightly larger compensation if it is significantly larger than the average job.
Training & Qualifications
I have no formal training past high school, but I did graduate as valedictorian of a college preparatory school. I adored giving speeches by the end of my time there and papers (fiction or non-fiction) were always a pleasure of mine. I was essentially the class proof-reader and I enjoyed it immensely. I acted as an editor for the school newspaper and yearbook staff all four years that I attended.
