Proofread documents in MS word providing detailed tracked changes as well as some additional general feedback. I excel at finding typos, offering style advice, and generally improving the quality of written work. I will offer some insightful commentary, specific suggestions, and catch as many errors as possible. I can also provide some general formatting suggestions and help get a job application package, resume, or cover letter on the right track.
I'm happy to look at a variety of documents including resumes and cover letters, short fiction, blog posts, basic academic writing (I will not write your term paper for you or otherwise plagiarism policies or copyright law), and other writing as applicable. I'm quite flexible and bring a wealth of experience from my personal and professional life.
Training & Qualifications
I hold two masters degrees: an MA in musicology (which required extensive academic writing) and a Master of Library and Information Science. I'm also known professionally and personally as someone who is willing to proofread quickly and offer balanced feedback and advice.
Availability & Preferences
Fairly open; I should be able to complete 30 minutes of proofreading during any 24-hour period.
