For customers too distant (or unwilling) to meet in person, I can walk you through basic troubleshooting for Windows PCs online via chat.
For customers able to meet in person, I can take care of the troubleshooting for you and explain it as I do.
I am capable of troubleshooting various issues, including (but not limited to) the dreaded Blue-screen of Death, unexpected shutdowns, strange system errors, unsuccessful booting, some internet connection issues, and strange noises. I mainly deal with diagnosing hardware issues. If there's an issue I can't fix (due to a faulty part, for example), I'll do everything I can to point you in the right direction.
Please note: I have asthma that is affected by cigarette smoke. If you need an in-person visit, but you smoke cigarettes/weed, or you use a vape pen, let me know beforehand so I may prepare myself.
Training & Qualifications
While I have no degrees, I have built and maintained PCs for 8 years and counting. I've worked with hardware dating back to the early 90's, though I keep myself updated on emerging technology such as VR. I also have a Quora profile where I answer questions about technology.
Availability & Preferences
I'm usually available in the afternoons on weekdays from 3:30 to 7:00 PM Pacific time for in-person customers. However, online customers may contact me between 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM Pacific time, Monday through Saturday.
