I am the Tutoring Manager for The Princeton Review, a test preparation company with the goal of helping students achieve their dreams. In this role, I manage and oversee all private tutorial programs including sales, operations and marketing. This is a high stress and face paced job, with parents depending on me to set up their student for success. In the world of academics, the college application process is easily one of the highest stress points of any student's life. It is my job to assure them that we are the experts and that we will work with them every step of the way. This is not confidence that is gained easily, but once gained, is the most satisfying.
I am truly passionate about customer service and helping people at a point in their lives where they are inundated with information and feel unsure how to proceed. Some days I leave my job feeling like an accountant or a data entry specialist, but most days I am a counselor and confidant. Knowing that families can open up to me and tell me their fears for themselves or for their students as they embark onto college and that I will be able to guide them and provide them with reliable advise makes my job worthwhile.
