As a professional in various progressively senior management jobs in the IT and Software Development industry for the past 8 years, I have learned many tricks about resume writing and delivery which have allowed me to pinpoint exactly where deficiencies in resumes lie, and have helped candidates to jump to the top of the pack in both HR resume reviews, and hiring manager decision making.
- I will review your resume, providing detailed feedback on the document
- I will help to re-word and re-layout (where needed) your resume in order to best showcase your unique talents
- I will provide guidance on how to avoid pitfalls you have encountered that have caused your resume to fall short
- In your returned document, you will either receive detailed commentary, or actual re-writes with spaces to add your own information back in (please specify which you would prefer)
Each transaction of this type is good for one resume review and detailed feedback on that resume. Please note that I will not be able to continue to go back and forth multiple times after a review in a single transaction via Simbi, but I am happy to try to direct my guidance in the direction you would prefer if you specify this when we start out.
Training & Qualifications
In previous management roles, I have been personally responsible for the hiring and decision making for over 350 candidates per year, both reviewing, examining, making hiring decisions, and helping to counsel upper management on the best candidates for positions based on their resumes and in person interviews. I have delivered dozens of resume reviews and rewrites to other candidates accelerating job discovery and hire. Stylistically, I believe in strong quantifiable results in your resume, and that is what I drive towards.
Availability & Preferences
I am usually free on weekends and in week day evenings, but I anticipate that this work will be asynchronous - in other words, it is unlikely that I will be reviewing your resume while you wait.
