I will provide tutoring services for the following levels of mathematics: arithmetic, pre-algebra, beginning algebra, intermediate algebra, advanced algebra, college algebra, trigonometry, precalculus, calculus, statistics, geometry, linear algebra, differential equations, and more!
Training & Qualifications
I am almost finished with my B.S. in Applied Mathematics. I have been tutoring math at Whatcom Community College for 4+ years, Bellingham Technical College for 1+ year, and privately for 10+ years. I have been partially responsible for training 20+ other tutors that I work with each quarter. I like to help my students understand how their math applies to the real world so they can understand why it is important/necessary for them to take math.
Availability & Preferences
If you're from the Bellingham area, I prefer to meet in the evenings or weekends, unless otherwise scheduled in advance. I prefer to meet somewhere public (coffeehouse, library, school, etc). I can also tutor online.
