During the hour we spend together virtually, I will go over the basic techniques and ideas in the process of Cross-stitching. We will work from the same pattern, which can be provided digitally. However, you must be able to provide all other material as this is a solely digital service for the time being. But fret not! I will help you to create a shopping list so you get the right stuff!
We will Zoom or video chat in the most convenient manner for you and begin by going over the tools and some basic resources to check out as you continue to learn the craft. We will then start the cross stitching process itself, making sure to practice the techniques before starting the actual piece itself. There are many ways to cross stich (and frankly a lot of us make it up as we go). So come learn this relaxing and contemplative craft with me!
Training & Qualifications
While I am a self-taught in the craft of cross stitching I have been stitching for upwards of 9 years. I have explored various techniques and the backs of my pieces look phenomenal. My family has been cross stitching for generations and it's in my genes!
