When I heard Leslie Odom Jr.'s rendition of "Nobody Knows You (When You're Down and Out)" I envisioned it telling the story of a man whose friends abandoned him when he lost money- all his friends except a dog that adored him no matter what. I could storyboard a video but I have no animation experience at all. I want an animator to actually make the video.
I imagine to legally use the song would mean paying royalties to the musician. This situation could be made perfect if we also find an animal shelter or charity willing to use part of their advertising budget to turn the video into a pet adoption PSA. I have a vision for this but not the skills to bring it to fruition so I need an animation partner for this precious project.
