Arduino Lessons

Looking to tinker with electronics and interesting projects (Drones? Robots? Smart house inventions? Whatever) and learn the ins and outs. Related programming perhaps as well. Doesn't have to be Arduino, can be Raspberry Pi, or some industry standard. If you have an electrical engineering background, awesome :). But either way, I'd be happy to assist with your ideas to see the process. I have a background in 3D modeling, AutoCAD drafting and some 3D printing if that helps...Otherwise I have a slew of totally unrelated skills (see profile) :). Can we help each other?

About Jessica Armstrong

I have a civil engineering degree with a math minor. I worked as an oil and gas pipeline engineer in Alaska, which made me become sort of a structural/mechanical hybrid. Realizing I want to learn to... code and go to grad school for mechanical or electrical; I'd eventually like to go into the prototyping end where I can innovate and see new ideas into reality instead of being stuck in a building code book for consulting. That said...I wouldn't mind doing structural for Spacex...a gal can dream ;). My analytical side is very balanced with my artistic side, and I'd like to utilize the latter skills here. Art, sculpting, graphic design, AutoCAD drafting, photo editing, 3D rendering/modeling, modeling modeling (internationally published in hair/beauty/fashion), singing (4.5 octave range).
