How to read a pattern.

80

80 per hour - Virtual OK - Posted Mar 15, 2017

I will join you on a phone call or video call and discuss with you how to read a pattern for up to an hour. For the novice sewer, this is an invaluable tool that can save you greatly on material and pain and suffering. From knowing what size you should make to what materials are suggested to how much of what to buy down to the nitty gritty of which pieces do you cut out, what lines do you use, how do you match them up and how to arrange and pin them to fabric. Length of call will vary depending on client and may be extended to two half hour classes if preferred. If local, meeting in person for the lesson can also be arranged.

Training & Qualifications

I have been sewing since I was 11 years old and, without giving away my age, gives me over 35 years experience. I have done costuming for cosplay conventions, plays and independent film and am the owner of a costume design and construction company.
