I'm originally from Toronto. I drifted over to Vancouver in my early twenties and joined a World Beat band as a singer. Making people happy through performance was probably the most fun I've ever had. After about a year of this, I found myself hitchhiking through France towards Barcelona.

I met my life partner in BCN just a few days after arriving there. Together we have raised four kids, all now kind and generous adults. Each of us speaks three languages.

I have recently returned to the GTA and I am anxious to share what I learned during my 25 years abroad with anyone who wants to share impressions (my two pet themes are language acquisition and governing systems). As a migrant myself, I would especially love the opportunity to pay it forward to those I am now in a position to guide and assist.
