A Calendar of Local Events for the Frugal Foodie
I would like to create an app that features what local restaurants have specials that day. Such as:
Kids eat free @ LMN on Sunday
$2 AYCE tacos at XYZ Mexican restaurant on Monday
$.50c wings at ABC Bar and Grill on Wednesday
The app would GPS your location, and tell you what specials are running that day and at which restaurant.
Users would help update the app, and it would restaurants would be able to buy advertising space on the app as well., to promote their business.
About me and my idea- I just moved to the east Valley of Phoenix and I love trying new food, and I LOVE finding a good deal! I want to create a website that will keep track of which restaurants have deals on which days, and be able to share it with locals to help local commerce & small businesses. I would also allow restaurants to buy advertising space as well that would allow them to have top priority on the list of deals for that day.
If I could create an app, or even a website- ideally, it would be both, this would be a dream come true!
Is there anyone who wants to help make this a reality?
